Abousleiman & Partners was established by its founder Chaker Abousleiman who was a highly respected lawyer, an active member of the Lebanese Parliament and President of the legislative Committee.
Randa Abousleiman is the Managing Partner of the firm. She has extensive experience in capital markets transactions, namely IPOs, issuance of global depository receipts, deposit certificates and Eurobond issue for both the public and the private sectors in Lebanon and the Middle East, representing corporate and bank issuer, placement agent, trustees and depositories. Ms. Abousleiman is in an expert in domestic and international commercial transactions including mergers and acquisitions, securitization, corporate restructuring, establishment of mutual funds and joint ventures. She also has substantial experience in syndicated loans, distributorship agreements and tax issues.
Prior to establishing herself in Lebanon, Ms. Abousleiman has worked for over ten years in New York in both the legal and banking fields. Ms. Abousleiman holds an LLM in Corporate Law from New York University, a Master of International Affairs with specialization in Finance from Columbia University, a Master of Laws and a BA in Political Sciences.
