Established in Byblos-Lebanon in 1950, Byblos Bank Group was
able to expand with the largest best-spread network of 73 branches
in Lebanon. With the Lebanese market having become too small for
Byblos Bank's activities and businesses, the time had come to explore
other options by looking at other countries. Therefore, the Bank opened
a representative office in Abu Dhabi, a bank in Sudan, another in Syria, and
lately a branch in Erbil (Iraq), in addition to its strategic presence in Europe,
Belgium, France and the United Kingdom.
